How far we've come

It's sobering to look at the 2005 Tour de France rider roster now and see how many names are grayed out - the names of the missing.

Congratulations to the three teams (out of 21) that have ridden well and retained all their members until today:
Here's hoping you three get to Paris with your teams intact and can celebrate your finish there in style. Now granted, you may not wish to have an ostentatious 600-guest blowout on Sunday night at the Paris Ritz like one of the riders is planning....
